Nutrition for the Life of your Pet
Chris and Charmaine, owners of Pet Wants Upper Valley, bring a lifetime of care and compassion to everything they do. Their journey is shaped by years in healthcare and a deep commitment to helping others. After spending most of their careers in the healthcare field—including owning and operating a nursing home they sold in 2024—they were ready for a new chapter that still centered on serving others in a more personal, community-focused way. Opening Pet Wants Upper Valley was the perfect fit: a business rooted in pet wellness, meaningful relationships, and doing what’s best for pets and their families.
Animals have always been at the heart of their lives, especially for Charmaine, whose love for pets spans everything from guinea pigs and bunnies to goats, ducks, chickens, pigs, and horses—along with beloved cats and dogs. Caring for animals isn’t just a passion in their home; it’s a way of life. That same level of attention, patience, and genuine care is what sets Pet Wants Upper Valley apart when it comes to serving local pet families.
When they launched Pet Wants Upper Valley, they also welcomed a new addition to their family—Ben, their puppy—who is quite literally growing up alongside the business. For Chris and Charmaine, Pet Wants Upper Valley is more than just a pet food store—it’s a place to build relationships, support fellow pet owners, and serve as a trusted, local resource for healthy, happy pets in the Upper Valley community.
